Jaipur Auto Expo 2014: Maruti Celerio expected to be displayed for test drive
Launched with price tag of Rs.3.90 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi) Maruti Celerio from country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited in the recently organized Indian Auto Expo 2014, is expected to grab attention of visitors in Jaipur Auto Expo 2014. Although the car also been launched in State but still company has not yet delivered any car till date. But as it is India's first auto gear shift car it has succeeded in making everyone curious towards its drive.
The new Celerio has been launched to replace the existing hatchbacks, Maruti A-Star and Maruti Zen Estilo from Indian car market which could not achieve the success expected by them. The new Celerio at present has been launched only in petrol version with option two transmission system, manual automatic transmission system and automatic transmission system. An interesting feature offered in Celerio is EZ Drive concept which facilitates the customers to get free from the tension of pressing clutch for gear change according to traffic conditions.
The new hatchback Celerio is equipped with 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder K series petrol engine churning the power of 67 bhp and torque of 90 Nm. The engine has displacement capacity of 998cc and is offered with four speed automatic transmission system, and five speed manual gear transmission system. It is offered in five trims LXi, VXi, KXi AT, ZXi and VXi.
