Land Rover Defender Concept 100 and Defender Concept 100 Sport at Auto Expo
Land Rover Offspring’s steal the spotlight today at the Auto Expo 2012. The company today unveiled its new Land Rover's Defender Concept 100 and Defender Concept 100 Sport at the show. The Concept cars picture future prospects of design promotion replacing the trademark design of the Defender. Retaining the conventional rugged, secure, reliable & adventuresome spirit of the pilot model, the car models Defender Concept 100 and Defender Concept 100 Sport are aimed to exhibit the prospective capability advancements of the forthcoming Defender. These Cars were first revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show during September 2011 and now are running successfully on roads with optimised off-road 20-inch alloy wheels shoed with Cooper all-terrain tyres.

At its debut at the Auto Expo, Defender Concept 100 is shown painted in Firenze red color with a white roof, recreating the substantial 21st century Defender design. The prominent features of the car are short overhangs that offer maximum approach and departure angles, a vertical windscreen and strong shoulder line for improved visibility, vertical panels and comforted positioning. Land Rover's Defender Concept 100 comes with the usual Defender look highlighted more with conventional round lamps and prominent grille, integrating a winch.

The other member of the family, Land Rover's Defender Concept 100 Sport was also displayed in Firenze red color. The Car has got similar key design features with a distinctive sporty & adventurous spirit previously incarnated by the early canvas-roofed Land Rovers along with the fold-down windscreens for creating a concept bristling with California cool. Clearly, the essential Land Rover traits of capability and versatility have been corroborated in both the upcoming offsprings by way of modern off-road technological support to repress the overall workload for the driver.
