Mahindra Scorpio N Family Gets 5 New Variants
The domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra launched the Scorpio N SUV in June this year and received an encouraging response from car enthusiasts. Some variants of the SUV are reported to have a waiting period of more than 24 months. Going through the increasing popularity of the SUV, the carmaker has added five more variants in the line-up of Scorpio N. The newly added variants are entry-level variants and are offered in both petrol and diesel trims.

These variants are named Z2 Petrol (E), Z2 Diesel (E), Z4 Petrol (E), Z4 Diesel (E) and Z4 Diesel (E) AWD. Their price starts from Rs 12.49 lakh and goes high up to Rs 16.94 lakh. According to industry experts, with this price bracket of the newly introduced variants, it looks like Mahindra wants the Scorpio N SUV within the reach of buyers with a fixed budget.
By adding five new variants to the Mahindra Scorpio N family, the total number of available variants has reached 30. All these variants are loaded with features like electronic stability control (ESC) and hill-hold assist as standard features. Earlier these features were available in Z4 (AMT), Z6, Z8, and Z8L variants as standard features. According to reports, the newly introduced Z2 variant is strong enough to compete with Kia Seltos with a string of remarkable features like dual barrel headlamps, stacked LED tail lamp cluster, LED turn indicators and R17 steel alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, this variant receives features like power steering with tilt functions, air conditioner vents for second-row passengers, an engine start/stop button, power windows, and a USB port.
The Z4 variant receives features like an activated carbon filter, air conditioner AC module for second-row passengers, wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, seat height adjustability with lumbar support, electronic ORVMs, cruise control and USB port for the second-row.
