Mahindra XUV500 2021 More Features Leaked

The domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the new generation of its best-selling SUV’s XUV500 and the Scorpio during the early months of the next year. The first vehicle to make its debut in the Indian car market will be XUV500 which is expected to be launched between January and March 2021, whereas the Scorpio is slated for the launch between April and June 2021. Both the vehicles have been caught by the spies undergoing the trials on the Indian roads.

Recently, there have been new updates related to XUV500 have been released on various platforms. According to recent reports, the 2021 Mahindra XUV500 will receive the new headlamps with DRLs followed by dual lighting facility. The DRLs offered in the new XUV500 will be the same as offered in XUV300 with a different shape. Moving ahead the front fascia is reported to receive aggressive looks in the form of edged lines. The multi-slated front grille is the same as offered in the existing version.
 
On the mechanical front, it will be equipped with a new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged mStallion petrol engine boosting the power of 190bhp and the torque of 380Nm. The diesel variant will be empowered with 2.2-litre mHawk engine that is capable of generating the power of 152bhp and the torque 360Nm. The new XUV500 will be offered with two transmission options of a six-speed stick shift and six-speed automatic gearbox.
 
Speaking about other features offered in the new Mahindra XUV500, it will be customized with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs flush-fitting door handles, angular headlamps, and L-shaped taillamps. Inside the cabin, it will be decorated with a new dashboard, steering wheel, dual displays similar to offered in Mercedes-Benz cars. It will be the first vehicle in the segment to be equipped with level 1 autonomous technology.
