Maruti Baleno RS to Launch in India During February 2017
Maruti Suzuki, the renowned carmaker has been providing a number of affordable cars in every segment to the Indian car lovers. The company launched Baleno hatchback last year, which was a boon to the hatchback segment and then, the automaker decided to launch the Baleno RS concept in India. The Maruti Baleno RS was showcased at the platform of 2016 Auto Expo where it received a great response from the car lovers and now the company decided to launch it sometime during the month of March 2017.
The Maruti Baleno RS will be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder Boosterjet engine which generates the power of 110hp and peak torque of 160Nm. It is expected that the Maruti Baleno RS will deliver the more efficient power than the 1.2L engine of the already available Baleno hatchback. It will be equipped with a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission system and the automatic unit can have paddle shifters to make the driving experience better.
In the looks, the Baleno RS will possess bi-xenon projector headlamps, company badge mounted on the front grille, fog lamps for bad weather conditions, sport alloy wheels to enhance the side view, rear wiper, brake light and many others. Cabin of the car might have a 7-inch infotainment display with connectivity of the Apple CarPlay, reverse camera, automatic climate control and many others that will make it comfortable and safe.
The Maruti Baleno RS will be sold through the Nexa dealership for the expected price of Rs. 8.0 – 10.0 Lac ex-showroom.
