Maruti Baleno Sales Crossed Mark of 2 Lac Units Within 20 Months
Maruti Suzuki, being one of the leading auto manufacturer in India has achieved a new milestone with sale of more than 2 Lac units of the Baleno hatchback. The company was launched this hatchback in India by October 2015 and now hit the goal within 20 months of its launch, which is a great success of the company. Also, it is a positive sign that Indian customers love the Maruti Suzuki cars most.
Prior to this, the Baleno has recorded over 1 Lac unit sales in just first year of its launch. This is not enough for the Maruti Baleno. Yes, being the fastest manufactured and growing vehicle, it is also the model which is exported to Japan, New Zealand and many countries in Europe and others.
On this occasion, Mr. R S Kalsi, the executive director (sales and marketing), said that Maruti Baleno is the vehicle, which was developed for global customers to fulfill their requirements. Apart from this, Baleno hatchback sets a new benchmark in design and technology for the other competitors in the automobile sector.
To continue this, Maruti Suzuki was launched the upgraded version of the Baleno as the Baleno RS in the Indian car market, which runs on a 1.0L BoosterJet engine delivering the power output of 100hp / 150Nm. The Baleno RS delivers the 21.1 km/l of fuel efficiency with help of a 5-speed manual transmission system. The car is available in India at Rs. 8.69 Lac ex-showroom.
