Maruti Suzuki Baleno Bookings Start: Would be offered in four variants
Scheduled for launch on October 26, 2015, Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback from country’s leading car manufacturer MSIL would be offered in offered in four variants and will go for sale through Nexa dealers. The first view of Baleno hatchback can be seen at Maruti Suzuki Nexa’s website. The bookings of hatchback have been commenced by car maker at the down payment of Rs. 25,000 and it is expected that immediately after launch company will start the deliveries of hatchback by the end of this month.
The hatchback would be offered in both petrol and diesel trims empowered with 1.2 litre 84 ps and 1.3 litre 75 ps engines respectively. The former would be offered with manual and CVT gearbox system while the later would be offered only is manual gear transmission system. There would be four trims namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha which would be top end variant. After launch Baleno will compete against Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai i20.
It is reported that hatchback would be equipped with various contemporary features including ABS+EBD, power windows (depending upon the trim) power steering, central locking system, keyless entry, gear shift indicator, rear parcel tray, AC with heater, airbags, 60:40 split seats, projector headlamps, reverse parking camera, smart play infotainment system and many more. Baleno hatchback would be available in seven fascinating colors.
