Maruti Suzuki Baleno garners bookings of 4600 units in two days
According to latest industry reports Baleno hatchback the recent initiative of country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited has garnered 4600 bookings within two days of its launch. The newly introduced infant in hatchback segment of Indian car market is grabbing attention of its enthusiasts at NEXA outlets set up by Indo-Japanese car maker. According to company sources 600 units of Baleno hatchback were booked across the country through Nexa showrooms on the very first day alongwith 1500 queries about the hatchback, and till date the registration number has crossed the mark of 4600 units.
Baleno is the ever first product manufactured by Japanese car maker in India and exported to rest of the world including Japan. It is speculated that Baleno will compete against the established hatchback likes Honda Jazz, Fiat Punto Evo, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Elite i20. According to reports the hatchback will servitude the mark of 10,000 units of Hyundai Elite 20 being sold in Indian car market.
Industry experts believe that the main reason behind the huge shift towards Baleno is integration of luxurious features which are not offered by any other hatchback in segment in-fact not even in any of the mid-sized sedan. The worth mentioning feature of this hot hatchback is presence of front dual airbags along with ABS+EBD, which are considered as attribute that fascinate buyers towards this hatchback.
