Maruti Suzuki Baleno Price to Hike by the End of November 2015
It is reported that Maruti Suzuki India Limited is speculating to hike the price of its recent initiative Baleno hatchback immediately after this festive season. Launched couple of days back on October 26, 2015 company has received more than 12,500 queries and it is speculated that the offering price of Baleno could succeed in grabbing the attention of buyers during the ongoing festive season. In the words of Mr. “Partho Banerjee, Senior Vice President (NEXA Channel), Marketing & Sales said, “This is an introductory offer. We are going to, very soon, revise the prices. In fact, on a lighter note it is more of a Diwali gift to our Indian customers from Maruti Suzuki.”
Offered at very competitive price of Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom price) the Baleno has been offered in both petrol and diesel variants enriched with 1.2 litre K series and 1.3 litre DDiS engine respectively. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system, but it is anticipated that company might soon offer the CVT automatic transmission system at the time when it hikes the price followed by introduction of SHVS hybrid system in diesel variant.
The hatchback is developed on Swift’s platform and has been developed to meet the expectations of buyers who wish to enjoy more features in Swift hatchback. Going through this requirement of car enthusiast apart from offering enhanced interior space the additional interior features offered in Baleno hatchback include multi functional steering wheel, projector headlights and LED DRLs, automatic climate control system, engine start button, Maruti’s Smart Infotainment system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth. On the safety front it includes features like dual front airbags, ABS+EBD as standard features.
