Maruti Suzuki Celerio debuts in Nepal
After making successful entrance in Indian car market, Maruti Suzuki Celerio has made its debut in neighbor country Neptal. The hatchback has been launched with price tag of 19.99 lakh NPR (INR 12.45 lakh) through National Automobile Dealers Association. In Nepal Maruti Suzuki has been launched in petrol variant and with two engine transmission systems.

In Indian car market the hatchback was launched during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 with starting price of Rs. 3.90 lakh (ex-showroom price). The hatchback is empowered with 1.0 litre K10B petrol engine boosting the power of 67 bhp and torque of 90 Nm. It mated with five speed manual transmissions system and also by Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) system, also known as EZ-Drive system, facilitating the driver to select transmission system according to his requirement.
In Nepal the Celerio hatchback has been launched in five variants, the base variant LXi has been adorned with manual air conditioner control system, tachometer (AMT) and gear position indicator (AMT), the second variant VXi is equipped with power windows, central locking system and standard features as offered in the base variant. The top variant ZXi apart from carrying common features as offered in other variants also embellishes audio system with CD, USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio controls, tilt steering, fog lamps, ABS, alloy wheels, electronic OVRMs and keyless entry. Apart from this company also offers facility of integrating ABS and front airbags on this variant.
