Maruti Suzuki Celerio Diesel launching in June 2015, soon to reach dealers
If reports from authentic sources are to be believed than recent reports from their side reveal that country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is finally going to launch the highly awaited diesel variant of its hatchback Celerio in Indian car market sometimes during the month of June this year. Under hood the diesel mill will be boosted by 2 pot 800 cc diesel engine boosting the power between 35-45 bhp and torque of 120-130 Nm. It would be offered with five speed manual gearbox system and will deliver fuel efficient figure of 30.1 kmpl.
As far as change in design and looks are concerned it is reported to continue with existing architecture and would be offered in LDi, VDi and ZDi trims. Earlier it was rumored that company might also bring AMT system in diesel variant, but in current scenario it does not seems to be offered in diesel variant. After launch Celerio Diesel will compete against Ford Figo and Chevrolet Beat in Indian car market.
