Maruti Suzuki Celerio diesel: Want it, get it all
Maruti Suzuki Celerio Diesel is one of the highly awaited hatchbacks of Indian car market since it successful launch. According to recent reports country’s leading car making company Maruti Suzuki India Limited has secretly commenced the production of the same at its production unit located at Manesar and now it is anticipated that soon the car maker may launch the diesel trim of Celerio sometimes during the month of April 2015. The diesel trim of Maruti Suzuki Celerio is expected to be launched with price tag starting from Rs. 5 lakh.
Under the hood it will receive twin cylinder 800 cc diesel mill boosting the power between 35-40 bhp and torque between 120-130 Nm and is endorsed to be the most fuel efficient diesel hatchback delivering an average of 30.1 kmpl. It is reported that in the beginning the hatchback would be offered with manual transmission system, however in future it may be equipped with AMT version.
As far as features and looks of diesel Celerio are concerned it will continue the same from its erstwhile version except the diesel badge to differentiate it from its elder sibling. After launch it will compete against Ford Figo and Chevrolet Beat hatchbacks existing in Indian car market.
