Maruti Suzuki Nexa Dealers Commence The Bookings of 1.5 Litre Ciaz Diesel
The Nexa dealers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited have commenced the bookings of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 1.5 litre diesel at their own end. According to recent reports, the Nexa dealers across the country are booking the Ciaz 1.5 litre diesel at the down payment of Rs. 10,000. This amount may,however, vary, depending upon the preference of the dealers.
The new Ciaz diesel will be equipped with the new in-house developed ‘E15A’ 1.5 litre diesel engine that is capable of boosting the power 94 bhp and the torque of 225Nm. It is equipped in aluminum unit with a variable geometry turbocharger, which is endorsed to offer improved drivability. The transmission duties will be performed by six-speed manual transmission system. The new 1.5 litre diesel engine will not be equipped with mild-hybrid technology, as offered in 1.3 litre DDiS 200 diesel engine.The 1.3 litre diesel engine is reported to be phased out by the end of this year.
As far as changes in petrol variant, there would not be any mechanical or cosmetic updates and will be continued with the existing engine configuration of 1.5 litre, following the existing four trims namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The upcoming 1.5 litre diesel engine is reported to be offered in three trims. Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The entry-level Sigma trim will not be offered due to pricing issues.
