Maurti Suzuki Celerio now available with option of safety features
Country’s premium car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has reported that it will offer Airbags and ABS as an alternative in all variants of Celerio including the base variant. A couple of day’s back company had rolled out additional safety features for its best selling cars, i.e. Maruti Suzuki Swift and Maruti Suzuki DZire.
Speaking about the safety features Mr. R S Kalsi, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India stated "Through Celerio we have always tried to offer the best to customers. By offering safety features like airbags for driver and co-driver, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) from the base variant onwards in Celerio, we are making it more attractive for customers."
Celerio is the first car in India to be introduced with Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology, and after its launch the AGS technology turned into a quick hit among car enthusiast as it offers comfort of driving, particularly in densely crowded conditions. Furthermore it was the first car from premium carmaker to get diesel motor and only hatchback in its segment available with three fuel engines i.e. Petrol, Diesel and CNG.
Kalsi said, "I am happy that we are able to offer these safety features on Celerio much ahead of regulations."
Celerio was launched in 2014 and since its launch car maker has sold more than 1.3 lakh units in Indian Car Market.
