Maurti Suzuki Ciaz might be launched in next two months
Maruti Suzuki India Limited might launch its highly awaited sedan Ciaz in Indian car market in coming next two months. The upcoming Ciaz has been promoted as replacement of company’s existing sedan SX4. It is reported that country’s leading car manufacturing company MSIL has stopped the production of SX4 from April, and therefore it is speculated that company might launch Ciaz quite early before the actual launch time announced earlier.
According to sources of company they have finalized the trials of Ciaz at company’s production plant located at Manesar. Talking about Ciaz it has been designed to not only replace SX4 but also to compete against newly launched Honda City, therefore company has designed Ciaz keeping the market requirement of current scenario in concern. The upcoming sedan will be launched in both petrol and diesel disguises, the petrol variant will be equipped with K Series 1.4 litre petrol engine as offered in its other sibling Ertiga, while the diesel variant will be energized with 90HP 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine outsourced from Fiat. Apart from this it is also expected that company might offer 1.6 litre diesel engine which would be more powerful and will aggressively compete with its existing contenders.
Industry experts believe that with Ciaz MSIL is back into segment of mid-sized and succeeded in grabbing the attention of all segments of auto industry during its display at Indian Auto Expo 2014. As an impact of this people would have high expectations from it, especially when they have strong options already existing in Indian car market in form of newly launched Honda City, Hyundai Verna and others.
