Mercedes Benz A Class launch in India tomorrow, recalled in Europe

Launch date of the much anticipated luxury hatchback, Mercedes Benz in India is 30 May, 3012 as per earlier schedule of the company. The German carmaker will officially launch this popular luxury hatchback in Indian domestic market tomorrow in both petrol and diesel models. But, the A Class has been recalled in Europe due to faulty in passenger airbag. The company has recalled 6,000 units of the A-Class Sports hatchbacks in Europe.

Mercedes Benz A Class is one of the best selling Mercedes Benz cars across the world. The company has introduced this sports hatchback targeting the youth generation. And now, the German auto giant is going to provide this amazing luxury hatchback to Indian customers with both petrol and diesel model choices. Promotion activities for A Class sports hatchback in domestic maker are on high peak and the beast will officially be launched tomorrow.

The A Class sports hatchback is a front wheel driven car model which is fully based on the Mercedes Benz’s MFA platform. Its petrol model will have a 1.6L turbo petrol unit under the cap while the diesel model is loaded with a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine. Both models will be offered with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Introductory price for the A Class sports hatchback in India is expected around Rs 20 lakh as in first chance it will be offered as CBU (completely built unit).
