Mercedes Benz CLA coming next year, production starts at Hungarian plant
Mercedes Benz is ready to get back to the global car market with a bang. The car maker has begun the production of Mercedes Benz CLA Sedan at the Hungarian plant of the firm. The firm will uncover the sedan officially very soon. The Geneva Motor Show 2013 will get the honor to showcase this stunning beauty. The show is scheduled for March this year. If reports are to be believed, the delivers of this stylish sedan are likely to begin in April. The official price tag hasn’t been made official as yet, but the car will be brought to India via CKD route, therefore a competitive price could be expected.

Coming to the detailing of the car, Mercedes Benz CLA sedan will come equipped by similar motors, which are present in Mercedes-Benz A Class hatchback. The three engine options comprise of Mercedes Benz CLA 180 producing 122BHP of power, Mercedes Benz CLA 200 churning out 156BHP of power and Mercedes Benz CLA 250 variant that would generate 211BHP of peak power. To cater the needs of diesel car fans, the CLA sedan will be coming in one diesel engine option as well. The Merc CLA CDI would be equipped with strong and dynamic engine churning out peak power of 170BHP. All these variants of the sedan will be coupled with 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, while 4matic 4-wheel drive system will be offered as an option.
If reports are to be believed, Mercedes Benz will bring in the AMG version of the car, which would show its face in September 2014 at the very popular Frankfurt Motor Show.As far as the Indian launch of Mercedes Benz CLA Sedan is concerned, the car maker is planning to roll out this one by next year. Apart from this, Mercedes Benz will also be launching Mercedes Benz B Class and A Class in the Indian car market. Stay tuned for more update on this!
