Mercedes Benz GL 63AMG launched at price of Rs. 1.66 crore
German luxurious car maker after the silence of almost an year since launch of GL-Class SUV in Indian car market last year has offered its younger sibling GL 63 AMG in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 1.63 Crore (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). Apart from being the most luxurious SUV it is also one of the most powerful SUVs from car maker in Indian car market.
The GL 63 AMG is empowered with 5.5 litre V8 engine boosting the power of 550 bhp at 5,250 rpm to 5,750 rpm and torque of 760 Nm at 2,000 rpm to 3,000 rpm. The SUV is coated with AMG Speedshift Plus 7G- Tronic automatic transmission system which transits the power to both rear and front wheels in ration 60:40 ratio respectively through its 4 MATIC all wheel drive system. With the top speed of 250 kmph it can accelerate the speed from standstill to 100 kmph within the span of 4.9 seconds.
The major features offered in Gl 63 AMG includes AMG ride control sports suspension system, automatic level control system and damping system, night view assist plus making it clear visibility for driver to drive easily during dark nights. Other luxurious features offered in powerful SUV include 14 speaker high defined Harman Kardon Logic surround system.
