Mercedes Benz India opens new showroom in South Delhi
It seems that Mercedes has triggered its reinstate process to the top position in the luxury car segment. The German car maker has opened up a grand showroom that holds a capacity to display 26 cars at a glance in the South Delhi area. Spread across over 60,000 sq feet, the mammoth showroom will have all Mercedes cars including the best selling Mercedes Benz C Class and the Mercedes Benz E Class. Notably, expansion of dealer network and popularity of the brand besides launching of under Rs 25 lakh luxury cars in India are the two prime agenda that Mercedes India seems to have set for its return to the top slot.

In the recent months, Audi and BMW have far exceeded in terms volumes while Mercedes Benz cars have lagged behind primarily probably due to lack of targeting the youth, said some experts. Where Audi has become the first choice of youths with the Audi Q3 targeting only the youth, Mercedes still lacks a car that can impress the youth. The Mercedes Benz B Class Tourer is a petrol car and it has got good response but not as good as the Q3 or the Audi Q5. In addition to this, the BMW X1 remains the all time favorite car of people while the BMW 3 Series too have impressed a lot.
The new showroom opened by Mercedes is a worth step in making the car maker popular in the country. The new showroom by Mercedes Benz in South Delhi has sales, spares and service facilities but is the second to the Faridabad showroom which is the largest in its category that has customer feedback and survey facility as well in addition to the three services. At the new facility, the customers will also get to know more about the AMG series of Mercedes cars at the Café Mercedes.
