Mercedes Benz M Class launch tomorrow

The German car maker Mercedes is hustling things to launch the new Mercedes Benz M Class in India. Since the SUV is one of the best selling Mercedes Benz cars, the auto maker is banking it high on it in order to take back is title lost to BMW. Recently, the M Class SUV was spotted parked at one of the dealership in Goa just ahead of its launch in two days. Meanwhile, the launch of the new M Class will also give an edge over Audi Q5 by its German rival. The official launch of the Mercedes Benz M Class will take place tomorrow in New Delhi.

Notably, the display at the dealership ahead of the launch is the showcase of demo car and Mercedes has specifically asked dealers to display the car before the launch perhaps in order to ramp up anticipation among car buyers. Available information reveals that the new M Class is a new avatar of the existing M Class in India and is primarily based on the new design by Mercedes. This new design got its first creation in the form of Mercedes Benz SL Class. The M Class SUV by Mercedes closely resembles the SL Class SUV as it has lot many features in common. With the new design, the new Mercedes SUV has inflated its proportions as wells. It is now a little longer, wider but a little lower than its already existing generation.

Apart from the overall SUV traits and the sense of quality that Mercedes cars have, the new M Class seems to have improved in fuel efficiency with the ML 350 CDI model to be offered in India. This model is diesel powered and has a 3 L 258 PS engine that has six valves and it outputs a maximum torque of 620 Nm. with the powerplant producing abundant power under the hood, the M Class can now reach to a 100 kmph mark in just 7.4 seconds which is a good pick up for this big SUV.
