MG Hector: Know The Features That Would Be Offered In This New Debutante
Finally, after a long wait British car maker MG will unveil its entry level vehicle Hector in the Indian car market today. But, interestingly the features of the Hector have surfaced on the internet, thus giving the complete information about specification that would be offered to the buyers of this compact SUV. The MG Hector will be introduced in four variants namely Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. Features like dual front airbags, ABS+EBD, traction control, four disc brakes, electronic stability program (ESP) and rear parking sensors will be equipped as standard features across all the 13 trims of four variants.

Under the hood, it will be offered with two engine options of 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol and 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine generates the power of 143 bhp and the torque of 250Nm, while the diesel churns the power of 170 bhp and the torque of 350Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual gear transmission system followed by an option of six speed dual clutch automatic system in the petrol engine.
Talking about the features that will be introduced in the four variants, the entry level Style variant will almost miss all the contemporary features, except the standard features and will drive on steel wheels with caps. The The Super variant will be offered with the features like touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse camera, LED tail lights and cruise control. The top end variant that is Smart will be embellished with iSmart connectivity solution, electrically foldable ORVMs, faux leather seats, six way electrically adjustable driver seat and keyless entry with push-button start.

Along with this the top end variant Smart will also have the high defined features including power adjustable front passenger seat, automatic headlights and mood lighting, heated ORVMs, 360 degree camera, wipers and rain sensing. The additional features offered in this variant will consist of large panoramic sunroof, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay system, AI powered voice assist, applications like Gaana, OTA, and many more. After launch in the Indian car market it will go against the likes of Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier.
