MG To Launch Hector Plus In June Due To Corona Outbreak

Going through the lockdown situation throughout the country, the UK based carmaker MG Motors has postponed the launch of six and seven-seater Hector Plus slated for the launch during this month. According to the company, the launch event will not take place sometime during June, after assessing the ongoing situation.

According to Mr. Rajeev Chaba, President and Managing Director, MG Motor India, "This year we had already showcased the six-seater Hector which we are calling the Hector Plus and the plan was to launch it in April. But now it's been delayed a little bit because of the lockdown, but hopefully by the end of June or so if we are allowed to start functioning and we return to 70 or 80 percent normalcy if we have, then by June end we should launch the Hector six-seater."

Speaking about the features offered in both the six-seater and seven-seater Hector Plus, the second-row passenger seats in the former variant will be captain seats. The wheelbase will be similar to the existing version, however earlier it was reported that to offer extra space in the last row the dimensions of the Hector Plus will be upgraded accordingly.
