Mitsubishi Outlander Chrome edition launched in India
The Indian unit of the Japanese auto major Mitsubishi has rolled-out a limited edition of its popular luxury sports utility vehicle Mitsubishi Outlander in India. The new edition has been named as Mitsubishi Outlander Chrome Edition and carries a range of new features to attract buyers. The limited edition Outlander is available at all Mitsubishi dealerships across the country.

The major attractions of the new Mitsubishi Outlander Chrome Edition include larger rear spoiler, side air dam, molding protection on the side, roof mounted DVD player, door mirror cover with chrome plating, floor illumination and a number of state of the art gadgets.

The whole engine unit has directly borrowed from the existing model of Outlander, without any change. It is loaded with the same 2.4L four-cylinder petrol engine. The company is expected to launch a new variant of the Outlander model in the Indian market soon. As the petrol version is already available, the new one will be a diesel version.

The new generation Outlander model was launched in the Indian market last year. The car has been promoted as the most stylish SUV in the country. Currently, the Outlander model is competing with the likes of Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour, BMW X1, Nissan X-Trail, Chevrolet Captiva and Toyota Fortuner in the Indian auto market.
