Mitsubishi unveils Outlander PHEV and new ASX Crossover
Japanese car maker Mitsubishi will be launching the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the ASX Crossover just ahead of the Paris Motor Show which will begin on September 29. It has unveiled the two recently. The unveil of the two Mitsubishi Outlander SUVs ahead of the Paris Show is believed to give an edge in terms of visibility to the two cars. It is expected that Mitsubishi will be launching the new Outlander in India soon after its official launch at the Paris Show. The Outlander price in India is Rs 20.79 lakh and the Outlander PHEV price is expected to be somewhat higher than the current model as it is hybrid model. Meanwhile it is quite unsure whether the car maker will be launching the ASX Crossover or not in the country as there are no initial plans enshrined by the car maker.

The new Outlander has a plug in hybrid which enables the car to run on electric power. The new SUV will be powered by a petrol engine and will switch to electric power when needed. Also the presence of the petrol engine makes it the perfectly powered SUV for off roading. Besides, there will be an option to run on exclusive electric mode, or a combined mode. In all, the new Outlander will be a big car that will not be polluting the environment and it will also be not a fuel guzzler as most of the SUV are. The tail pipe emissions will be low and thus it will be one of the lowest polluting SUV in its segment.

The new ASX on the other hand will have some exterior appearance changes that will be prominent on it and these include a revamped front with the new head lamps, new bonnet and new bumpers while the tail area will have new tail lamps. A lot of new features have also secured their place inside the new car.
