Mitsubishi Pajero to be upgraded with Automatic Transmission System
Domestic car making compnay Hindustan Motors is going to launch automatic version in its Sports SUV Mitsubishi Pajero during the next financial year. Addressing the annual general meeting of organization, Mr. C.K. Birla, Chairman, Hindustan Motors said that company has signed a treaty with Japanese car making company Mitsubishi to introduce Pajero Sports SUV in automatic version. At present Pajero Sport is powered with 2.5 litre diesel engine generating the power of 178 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. Engine is coated with five speed manual transmission system which distributes the power equally to all four wheels. Industry experts speculates that company may install automatic version based on 'INVECS-II 5-speed automatic with Sportronic platform.
As it is known that Hindustan Motors had introduced Mitsubishi Pajero during 2012 in Indian car market and started assembling its parts at Tiruvallur production plant in Chennai. According to reports apart from this company is also speculating to launch a new vehicle under the flagship of Mitsubishi during the next financial year.
