Most reliable and least reliable cars
The automotive world has seen some of the most awesome car launches in the past one and a half decade. But did all cars prove to be reliable or they lose breath mid way? Others may but Mitsubishi Lancer is one car that has seen the least number of breakdowns since its launch and this makes it the most reliable car for the past 15 years. This survey was carried out by Warranty Direct which is an automotive warranty specialist. The company is also celebrating its 15th anniversary. The Vauxhall Agila positions second while the Suzuki Alto stood at the third position while Toyota Aygo and Honda HRV were at the fourth and fifth pedestal.

If such a survey was carried out in Indian perspective, Maruti cars specially the Maruti 800 would have won the title followed by Premier Padmini and Hindustan Ambassador. In terms of recent additions, again Maruti Alto, Toyota Qualis (discontinued) or Toyota Innova besides some Mahindra cars will secure the top three slots. Nowadays car makers such as Mahindra and others are providing five years warranty on some cars and this has also reduced the chances of breakdown as the companies fit in such kind of stuff that lasts long. Long ago, it was a popular saying for Maruti 800 that buy it and forget about maintenance. One need not open the bonnet of this car for at least 5 years except for regular servicing.
