Upcoming small car to replace Maruti 800 and Alto
There is something big coming up from Maruti’s table but in the form of a small car, it seems. This new small car by Maruti India will put Maruti 800 and Maruti Alto 800cc to the backseat. Moreover, it was quite obvious as how Maruti can forget its best-selling car Maruti 800 into oblivion without a replacement? As per sources, the Indian car giant is thinking of a futuristic, fuel-efficient replacement of these 800cc cars and it is said to be in the making and will be launched in two years from now.

Maruti 800 and Maruti Alto have literally rule the Indian car industry for almost ages now. Even then the craze for these cars perhaps following their price or whatsoever is still pushing their sales. The recent Maruti Alto K10 has bagged much response from the car buyers in India. Maruti 800 though has taken a slower pace and it seems that within no time it will be forgotten by people. Notably, Maruti had to pull out the small car from metros following the absence of BSIV compliance by the car.

The information is said to have arrived from official sources and it is said that the new small car by Maruti is in the development phase. Besides the age of these two cars, launch of Hyundai Eon and Tata Nano are also factors behind Maruti’s efforts in bringing a new small car.
