New Maruti 800 to launch soon
Maruti Suzuki, the largest car maker in India is reframing their legendary car Maruti 800 with better space, stylish interiors and exteriors which are better than the older version.
The new Maruti 800 will come up with entirely new interiors, with more space than the earlier Maruti 800, the car’s height has increased, and shoulder line is increased reducing the rear glass window, quite like the Maruti Alto.
After ruling in for two decades in the country, Maruti 800 was not falling under the new emission norms of BS IV so it was discontinued in 2010 in 13 metro cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmadabad, Surat and other metro cities had to bid goodbye to the compact Maruti 800 as well. Now the company is upgrading the model’s engine so that it complies with the norms of BSIV (Bharat Stage IV).
According to the market speculation, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is working towards developing an evolved version of Maruti 800. The new Maruti 800 is targeting a price below Rs 2 lakh to distance it from the Maruti Alto and position it against the Tata Nano, the report said.

If you change engine only in old maruti 800 ,it may save your cost of production and save the time and price also less then your new production,because old maruti 800 is very attracive model and stylish.
