MSIL to boost the production of Baleno hatchback
Going through the splendid response of customers towards its hatchback Baleno country’s leading car manufacturer MSIL is going to enhance its production to minimize the duration of waiting period. With more than 45,000 bookings the Baleno is undergoing waiting period extending to six months. Understanding the interest of buyers towards Baleno hatchback Indo-Japanese car maker has already doubled the production of Baleno to 12, 000 units every month.

Launched back in October 2015, the Baleno hatchback is available in both petrol and diesel disguises of 1.2 litre K Series petrol and 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine boosting the power of 83 bhp and 74 bhp respectively. Since its launch Nexa Baleno has emerged as tough contender of Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz. After S-Cross, Baleno is the second product by car maker that is sold through Nexa network across the country. Commenting on the question of enhancing production of Baleno, Mr. R.S. Kalsi, Executive Director, said, "We are making all possible efforts to de-bottleneck the lines and enhance production (of Baleno)."
