New Audi R8 line up appears prior to Paris Motor Show unveil
Audi seems to be desperate to climb to the number one luxury car maker in India and is one of the car makers that has the offerings to do it. The recent launch of the Audi Q3 has bagged many accolades in the form of large number of booking and this has shaken the ground of BMW X1. Now zooming ahead, the German car maker is said to have unveiled the full line up of the 2013 Audi R8 lineup which will be showcased at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The Rs 1.15 crore car R8 is available in India on order and this is the new version that will soon be launched.

As per the latest information about the new Audi car model coming up, it will have an all new seven speed gearbox that will not only boost its speed but will also make it more responsive on road. The new gearbox will replace the present R-tronic automatic manual one installed. It has been a long time that frequent reports of spying and details leak were on the internet but now that Audi R8 details are there, there is a pause to all speculations and spy shots. The new R8 is expected to arrive in India by the year end and is hoped to maintain its price tag as it is even after addition of several new features.

A close rival of Porsche Boxster, Nissan 370Z, Maserati GranCabrio, Mercedes Benz SLK-Class and Porsche 911, the R8 has been stepped up in looks as well as features to make it a perfect car in the segment. Not many changes are there on the new R8 and are subtle rather than explicit. However, a new bumper, grille and a new pair of tail pipes is not all that on the new R8 as the main change is under the hood. The new transmission is expected to boost R8 performance by leaps thus making it a car of choice in its segment.
