New Honda CRV diesel unveiled
Everybody has seen the new Honda CRV at the Geneva Motor Show. The prototype shown in March 2012 has taken three months to get real shape. As per the updates, the new Honda CRV with a diesel heart has been unveiled in Europe and a launch is expected soon. The production ready version of the diesel powered CR-V has many changes on the outside as well as on the inside. The change under the hood is in fact the most significant one. The changes on CRV include new bumpers, daytime LED lights, rear lights with LED cluster, side indicator on ORVMs and a lot other design changes.

Back in India, Honda is struggling hard following the low demand of its cars that are all petrol powered. The Honda CR-V diesel is highly expected and anticipated in India and it is expected that the car maker will be launching it in India soon after the Europe launch. It is expected that the CR-V diesel launch will also help Honda cash in the recent spur in demand for SUVs and as per the sources, Honda is preparing an earlier than Diwali launch for it along with Honda City diesel and Honda Brio diesel.

The CRV diesel unveiled in Europe is slightly shorter in length but the interior space has been maintained as it is. As per the reports, it will be offered in petrol and diesel and the petrol motor will be the iconic 2 L iVtec while the in diesel it will have two options viz. 2.2 L iDtec and 1.6 L turbo diesel. Reports also suggest an early October launch and this is the time that Honda must have planned its launch in India. Some reports however, predict an early next year launch of the Honda car.
