Next Generation Honda CR-V caught testing on European roads

It has been almost three years when Japanese car maker had introduced fourth generation sporty cross-over CR-V in 2011 in global market. After which this year spies have succeeded in witnessing the facelift version of CR-V being test on several occasions. This time again also spies have witnessed the facelift CR-V going under test drives on European roads. According to reports received from spies the facelift will replace the existing version of CR-V and has undergone various cosmetic changes.

The exteriors of CR-V according spies carry new front bumper, newly designed fog lamps, new grille at the front fascia on the rear portion it receives new bumper followed by reflectors placed at new position. As far as greasy changes are concerned it is speculated that the car maker will continue the existing four cylinder petrol and diesel engine. In Indian car market the CR-V is offered in petrol version with two engine options of 2.0 litre and 2.4 litre petrol engine and mated with six speed manual and five speed automatic gearbox. The facelift version of CR-V would be launched sometimes in 2015 and will be named as Honda CR-V 2016.  In Indian car market it is anticipated to be launched immediately after its global launch. But whether it will be offered also in diesel version or not this is not yet sure.
