New Hyundai Elantra Revealed: India Launch Soon
Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has recently revealed the sixth generation of luxurious sedan developed strictly for ASEAN countries (Association of South East Asian Nations). In its new avatar the Elantra 2019 looks almost similar to its facelift version that was unveiled last year in the United States of America. The next generation of Elantra is being tested on the Indian roads and is believed to make its debut soon in the Indian car market.

Under the hood there would be no mechanical changes and will continue to be offered with the existing 2.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates the power of 152 PS and the torque of 192Nm. The diesel variant will be continued with 1.6 litre engine that boosts the power of 128 PD and the torque of 260Nm. The transmission duties would be performed by six speed manual gear transmission system followed by an option of six speed automatic transmission system. It is speculated that the company might introduce the dual-clutch transmission system.
Well, talking about the features on the interior front it will come equipped with new steering wheel design, new instrument cluster, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new switch gears, new leather upholstery and many more. On the safety front also, the new Elantra will not disappoint the buyers and will be embellished with six airbags, vehicle stability control system, tyre pressure monitoring system, reverse parking camera and few more, depending upon the trim preferred by the buyer.

On the exterior front it will undergo vast changes on the rear and front ends. The front fascia will receive more angular display consisting of triangular LED headlamps, new bumper, set of new fog lamps, and trapeze shaped front grille. Moving towards the rear portion you will find new tail lamps, new bumper, new tail lamps, and also the logo of Elantra mounted at the boot lip. The registration plate is studded on the bumper.
