New Hyundai i20 Blue goes on sale from May 7th
The Hyundai i20 facelift was revealed in front of the auto aficionados at the Geneva Motor Show last month. The rejuvenated car was then launched in India without any hulla bullah. Within few of the India launch the South Korean auto honcho is all set to bestow upon the people at Great Britain with the new and improved i20 hatch adorning flexuous Fluidic design. The car will come with a price tag of £9,995 (Rs 8 lakh).

The interesting thing about this new car is that it is not a next generation model of i20, but it has been upgraded to keep pace with the rest of the cars in the Hyundai family sporting the Fluidic design. The three door model is offered as the entry level petrol variants and the 1.4 liter diesel engine affixed model is offered as a high spec variant. The petrol variant comes equipped with a 1.4 liter petrol engine mated to an automatic transmission.

The Blue variant that features a new 1.1 liter “U-II” three cylinder diesel engine generates 75 PS of power. It also features a Intelligent Stop and Go and low rolling resistance tires. Being extremely fuel efficient it runs 37 kmpl. The Hyundai Fluidic i20 offered in UK is offered in three variants-Classic, Active, Style and Blue. The Style variant comes stuffed with features like Remote central locking, Six air bags, ABS and ESP, Vehicle Stability Management,16-inch alloys, Bluetooth with voice recognition, Electric/heated door mirrors, Front fog lights, Leather steering wheel and gear knob, Power windows, Automatic headlights, Rain sensing front wipers, Climate control, Automatic dimming rear view mirror and Integrated reversing camera. The Hyundai i20 Fluidic will be up for sale in the UK showrooms effective May 7, 2012.Hyundai i20 is a popular model in India and the new i20 adorning the Fluidic design is selling in good numbers in India.
