New Hyundai i20 hits showroom

The all new Hyundai i20, showcased few days ago at the Geneva Motor Show finally hit the UK showrooms yesterday on May 7, 2012. New Hyundai i20 has received preeminent cosmetic changes which is evident on the exterior front of the hatchback. On the exterior front the car flaunts a fresh wheel design and a revivified hexagonal front grille that harmonizes with the Hyundai’s concurrent fluidic sculpture design.

Apart from this other changes include a new circular front wings while the redesigned bonnet and head lamps that gel well with the fluidic theme. Along with these changes, other prominent changes in the premium hatchback i20 comprise of fresh fog lamp clusters and daytime running lights. In the rear end, the car dons a reworked bumper and tail lamps that renders a rejuvenated look to the hatchback. Here in India, the all new Hyundai i20 has been introduced weeks ago.

The petrol model features the 1.2 litre petrol powertrain which is more forceful and effectual than its forerunner. Fuel consumption figures are now much amended at 57.7 mpg than the earlier 55.4mpg. Co2 emissions have also been dropped to approximately 114g/km which helps in enhancing the fuel economy of the petrol powered variant. New Hyundai i20 prices begin at £9,995(on-road-price) for the Classic 1.2 litre petrol variant, however the diesel variant with 1.4 litre CRDi Style engine that pumps out maximum power of 90PS has been tagged at £14,295.

Hyundai i20 superb car..it has stylish interior, i like it most.....even it's smooth wheeling:) <br />but only thing is, i'm dissapionted with it's pick up..it's quite low..
