New Maruti Ritz launch round the corner

The tall boy car Maruti Ritz by India’s largest car maker is about to have a facelift. This is the very Ritz car that has highly inspired the front of the new MPV in town - Maruti Ertiga. The Ritz diesel is specially the one that sold like hot cakes in the country. However, some users highly disliked its rear that is awkwardly designed. The new Ritz is about to be launched and this will be the first touch of perfection to the car after its launch three years ago. Priced around Rs 4.16 lakh, the Ritz small car is a close rival of Tata Indica, Chevrolet Beat Diesel and Skoda Fabia besides others.

The extent of spy pictures emerging on the internet further affirms that the new facelift version of Ritz is about to land. In addition to this, the test mule of the Ritz has also been spotted testing and all these together sound the bell that the Ritz is coming. And it is coming with a bang. Expected to have an all new front profile with much bolder looks and a changed grille, Ritz would be the third launch in continuation after Maruti Ertiga and Maruti Swift Alpha. On the inside, the car will have a lot of addition to the features and comfort chart including new theme and an upgraded quality of materials inside. The new Ritz is not expected to temper with the engine line up as both the 1.2 L petrol and the 1.3 L Fiat sourced multijet diesel engine goes well with the car that is also high on mileage as well.

The new Ritz will be more attractive on the outside and on the inside as well. The facelift is commensurate with Maruti India’s plan to upgrade its existing portfolio and launch new cars. The new car from Maruti will be the Maruti XA Alpha which is scheduled next year. However, experts suggest that a Maruti 800 replacement could be launched in the coming months as Maruti 800 production is about to stop.
