New Maruti Ritz on road!

Recently, the Maruti Ritz has been caught on the old Gurgoan roads during the testing sessions, which is rumoured as the facelift of the original Ritz. However, the rear badges are under the cover and it was not running on the test plates. According to the sources, the spotted Maruti Ritz will be the upcoming facelift version having few cosmetic changes with minor interior and technical modifications. Though, there are no confirmed information and pictures make available by the sources.

Originally, Maruti Ritz was first introduced at the 2006 Paris Auto Show that charmed the Indian buyers with its elegant exterior & interior, power and performance. There are rumours in the air that the facelift Maruti Ritz will help to increase sales along with the company’s new Maruti Swift.  

It is to be noted that the country’s leading automaker, Maruti Suzuki is struggling hard to lead the competition race with its main rivals that has recently reported a modest 5.2 percent growth for the January sales at 115, 433 units. However, the domestic performance of the company is really poor.

Now, the Maruti Suzuki seems following a new strategy to sustain its market position and keep following the foot prints of the buyers. Company has introduced the facelift versions of the various existing models like mildly refreshed ‘Maruti A-Star’ had been displayed at the ‘Jan, 2012 Delhi Auto Expo’ and launched at the end of the same month.
