New Mercedes Benz M Class launch on May 15
It is after the recent dethroning from the top luxury car brand title that the German car maker is doing its part to reinstate itself. In an attempt to do this, it will be launching the new Mercedes Benz ML350 CDI on this May 15. Reports also confirm that this Mercedes SUV will be able a worth addition to the segment and it will be competing its segment players quite well. Notably, after its unveil at the 2012 Auto Expo, this Mercedes Benz M Class SUV was expected to be launched in April but later reports came in that it will be sometime in May.

Meanwhile, the industry was full of spy images of the ML 350 CDI testing in and around Pune. Now the SUV is ready for production after the initial tests and it will be launched at an event in New Delhi soon. Industry experts believe that the launch was delayed due to the hike in excise duty following which, the car maker had to revise the price of the new Mercedes car. As per various reports, the ML 350 CDI will be brought to India in completely built up unit form and later Mercedes could work on assembling it in India.

As per the sources information, the new Mercedes SUV ML 350 CDI will feature the next generation SUV traits and the six valve BlueTEC V6 engine will be under the hood of this power machine. In all the Mercedes SUV will have a power output of 240 PS and despite of being bulky in weight, the new SUV will be able to touch the 100 kmph mark in as low as 7.4 seconds which is quite impressive for this SUV. The Mercedes SUV will have a top speed of 224 kmph. With plans of assembling it in India, Mercedes will be producing the Mercedes Benz M Class SUV in India by the end of this year at its plant at Chakan.
