New Mitsubishi Pajero coming in Q1 of 2012
Again, the country's prominent car maker, Hindustan Motors is ready to play its trump card in the Indian luxury SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) market. The company has promised to launch the Sport version of already available luxury SUV Mitsubishi Pajero in the Indian domestic market right after the Delhi Auto Expo.
The company has rescheduled the launching plan of the new Mitsubishi Pajero twice in past and this time again it has to postpone the event due to natural calamity in Thailand, recently.
As per sources the new Sports version of popular Mitsubishi SUV will come equipped with some new features and specs hence it is speculated to be priced higher than its current model. The new beast is expected to come loaded with new tweaks of automatic transmission, carbon reduction tools, sun visors, electronic infotainment system, street nav systems, retractable seats etc., which would make it stunner in the segment.

However, new changes will not be available to be seen under the hood and the new version of the SUV is expected to carry the same 2835 cc diesel engine. New Mitsubishi Pajero pictures have already been clicked out that display its unique styling and excellent appearance giving it impressive look.
At present , Mitsubishi Pajero is being offered in diesel engine model and only one variant is available. It is available at the price tag of Rs. 20.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and eating-up the market share of rivals like Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva, Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Grande Vitara.
In addition to increase the localisation of the SUV, the all new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be assembled at Hindustan Motors' plant in Tamil Nadu. Currently, the company includes Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Mitsubishi Montero, Mitsubishi Outlander models in its stable.
