New Renault Fluence Diesel offered at no extra cost, this festive season
Fluence was the first sedan from the stable of Renault in India as a standalone; the car was launched a few months ago. The French auto major came up with a unique sales strategy of commencing its sequence with diesel powered engine as entry-level variant while the feature packed petrol variant was regarded as the top end model. The consumers of Fluence diesel- the base variant; missed-out on many tempting features as it lacked many them which were present in the petrol variant as well as other company’s sedans in its segment. Now to plug in those gaps and bring back the joy on the face of car buyers, this festive season the company has launched a face-lifted Fluence diesel model.

The dealerships across the country are offering Fluence diesel with seats that are now stitched with Stanley leather to increase the comfort level and a certain degree of premium-ness to the sedan. And icing on the cake are the powerful parking sensors. These two attractions are offered without any increase in the cost of the vehicle, which is the superlative part. The company offers them as dealer fitments to increase the sales this festive occasion.

The sedan comes with a 1.5L common rail turbo charged diesel engine, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission; the maximum power of 105 bhp can be generated with a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The major highlight of this vehicle is its fuel economy that is of 22 kmpl; validated by ARAI. And this makes Fluence stand out of the herd as it can be rated the most economical in its sedan segment.
Apart from Fluence, Renault sells its SUV Koleos in the country. The sedan competes with Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Laura and Toyota Corolla Altis.
