New Renault Fluence diesel version launch tomorrow in Delhi
French carmaker Renault will launch a new and more powerful diesel variant tomorrow in Delhi to challenge the likes of Skoda Laura and Chevrolet Cruze in India. The New Renault Diesel E4 version will be seen generating a first-rate 110 PS of utmost power with its 1.5L K9K diesel motor, which is much better than the existing. There will be a dual-clutch gearbox coupled with the new engine. The price is expected to be around INR 15 Lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).

The more refined and advanced diesel motor will be new 1.5L dCi that was initially introduced in the European auto sector in 2011 with Renault Scenic, the compact Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). This new diesel power train is expected to sport retuned turbochargers and fuel injectors together with new oil pump. The 110 PS producing engine will generate less CO2 emissions along with being more fuel economical in addition. The currently serving diesel engine churns out nearly 106 PS of maximum power along with 240 Nm of maximum torque.

After its debut last year, the France based auto maker had declared that this frugal and greener technology will be passed on to all the upcoming cars of Renault in near future. Environment conscious global automobile manufacturers in the present times are focusing on bringing in modern expertise in the country that is eco-friendly too. On the same lines is one of the famous most, Ford Motors with its EcoBoost engine, which sees vehicles like Ford EcoSport SUV to debut in India amid or late this year.
