New Renault Fluence launch this year
Renault opened its innings in India with the Renault Fluence sedan and it proved to be lucky for the car maker that has settled quite well in India. Especially, Renault Duster has helped make firm the roots of the French car maker. The Fluence has been there for quite sometime and it seems to be in need of a makeover soon. The car maker is expected to give this car a facelift soon and it will have a garb exactly in the shape of the new Fluence unveiled at the Istanbul Auto Show. The Fluence price in India starts Rs 12.99 lakh and the new car model is expected to arrive this year after the launch in Turkey this month.
As per the reports, the facelift has put on itself the new Renault design philosophy that is vociferous on the small car Renault Twingo, Renault Clio and the Renault Alpine concept car. Part of the changes to the looks of the car include new headlamps, new bumper and new LED daytime running lights. It is believed that the new Fluence will have the latest design that will also be the design of the future of Renault cars. Meanwhile, experts say that there will be hardly any change in the side and rear design.

As far as the engine configuration is concerned, the new Fluence will have a new 1.6 L petrol engine that will have a power output capacity of 115 PS. Meanwhile, the 110PS diesel engine option will continue while there will be an addition of 130 PS diesel engine under the hood that will be meant for certain markets only. The Fluence sedan though could not get instant success in India and was part of the top down strategy, but it became the first car and a launchpad for the brand in India.
