New Renault Fluence unveiled

The Renault Fluence is the first French car in the country and with it Renault has started its solo journey in the country. Now it has been many months and the buzz is that the car could receive a facelift soon. In this series, the car maker has showcased the new Fluence in Mexico. It will also be displayed at the Paris Motor Show that is all set to begin tomorrow. Though the Fluence could not give the car maker a good start but the car has certainly expressed the intentions and the kind of line up of products ahead.

The new Fluence has lots of design similarities with that of the Samsung SM3 and this means that the Korean influence is evident on the French car. The Fluence derives the same grille, same chrome work and the mesh work. Still the car maker has tried its best to preserve the identity of this flagship car. As part of the other design changes, the car has new bumpers, new head lamps and a matching hood change. With these changes, the Fluence has become all the more stylish and appealing compared to the existing car that is in dire need of a facelift. It is expected that the new Fluence will be launched in India after its debut at the Paris Motor Show as the car maker knows that the festive season car buying is ahead.

The facelift will be able to give a fresh start to the car that has gone a little uncomfortable following the entry of Hyundai Elantra in India. However, it is to be seen what timing the car maker will set for itself to launch the new Fluence in the country. The time seems to be ripe but it is said that the car maker will wait for a Europe launch and post that it will see the Indian shores.
