New Sonata coming in two years, India launch anytime from now
Hyundai Motors has special plans for its premium sedan Sonata. As per the latest buzz about this award winning car, the Korean car maker will be launching its new model in 2014. This will be the first major facelift in the past four years and it is expected to equip Sonata to have much higher degree of features and equipments to counter its rivals. In India, the Hyundai Sonata launch is probable, could be in a few days. The premium sedan by Hyundai will have a close fight with premium segment sedans including Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Maruti SX4 besides others. Meanwhile, Hyundai has started booking of the new model of its SUV Santa Fe starting today and the new Santa Fe will be launched in April.

The present generation of the Hyundai Sonata dates back to 2009 when it was first launched in South Korean. Soon after Sonata was launched in US where it was booming hit. Recently, the Sonata became the third best seller in its homeland and a top selling car in the US. However, Hyundai had to face meek sales in Europe following the economic crisis going on there. Hyundai chief executive Kim Choong-ho has given nod to makeover of Sonata in a recent report.

Now that Hyundai plans a new version of world fame car Sonata, it is believed that it will make the car more popular as the Koreans are expected to imbibe in it some of the best stunning features. Back in India, the Sonata is about to begin its second innings. It was a hit during the debut in India but later the company discontinued it. After sensing the growing population of premium sedan buyers in India, Hyundai has decided to bring the Sonata back to India.
