New Toyota Corolla Altis Aero Diesel launched at Rs 13.04 lakh

The premium sedan segment gets a perfect jolt as Toyota Motors today presented the Toyota Corolla Altis Aero Diesel version. The limited edition model is incorporated with some exceptional features at the exteriors as well as interiors of the classy sedan. The price that reads Rs 13.04 Lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) seems fitting to thrash away the competitors like Chevrolet Cruze, Volkswagen Jetta and Renault Fluence. Last month, the Japanese company has launched the petrol variant of Corolla Altis Aero and had promised to bring in the diesel trim soon, which they did. The special petrol and diesel ‘Aero’ editions will only be available till September 2012.

It is to be noted that to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Toyota Corolla sedan in India the company has introduced the limited edition ‘Aero’ models. According to industry sources, this is the right time to launch the diesel powered model as the market is single handedly dominated by various diesel models by rival companies. The Toyota Corolla Altis Aero Diesel is offered in two new solid looking shades of Black Mica Metallic and Silver Mica Metallic.

On the whole, the exteriors have received sporty looking dynamics with restructured front and rear bumpers together with an LED laden boot spoiler that provides an exquisite appearance to the sedan from rear. Moreover, there are attractive 7-spoke alloys  and chrome tipped exhaust pipe for rich emergence. Coming to the interiors, the Toyota Corolla Altis Aero diesel has got premium dual tone seats for the occupant that are engraved with ‘Aero’ signature for distinction.
