New Toyota Corolla Altis launch tomorrow
Tomorrow that is 7th of January 2011, when the clock reads 11.00 am Toyota Motors will launch an all-new version of country’s beloved sedan Toyota Corolla Altis at Lake Hanger- Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The popular sedan is expected to have slim headlights and a deep-V grille design at the front along with some shaper cues on the exterior surface. The interiors will be offered with some new shades of beige blended perfectly with the renowned luxury of Toyota alongside advanced safety elements, with no changes under the hood. The New Toyota Corolla Altis will contend with Skoda Laura and Volkswagen Jetta in the country and will possibly be priced in the range of INR 13 Lakh to 14 Lakh for entry level.

The New Toyota Corolla Altis will be powered by the existing 1.8L petrol engine and 1.4L diesel power-train. The petrol version will be presented in automatic as well as manual transmission choices. The 1798cc petrol run engine generates an output of 140 PS at 6400 rpm along with peak torque of 173 Nm at 4000 rpm. While the diesel motor with variable nozzle turbo & intercooler with 6-speed manual gearbox that offers class leading mileage of 21 km per litre, certified by ARAI.
