The best selling premium sedan Toyota Corolla is soon to get a new avatar and this time it seems that the car maker is going to make it more appealing than before. To be called as 2014 Corolla, the new Japanese car will have all that the segment demands – styling, comfort, safety and above all the trust and satisfaction of a Toyota car. The initial images that are doing rounds on the internet suggest that the new car is all set for a stylistic upgrade both to itself and the car buyers as well. The 2014 Corolla is slated for this year end launch and hopefully it will hit sometime during Diwali when there is most of the car buying.

Reports suggest that the new car drives a lot of inspiration from the new design concept Furia that Toyota has unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. A close look at the spy shots reveal that the new Toyota car will have smooth edges and will have a close styling similarity that the car buyers have witnessed on the new Toyota Innova. The new styling is also to become the face of all Toyota cars in the future. In all the car is going to get a lot of exterior changes but it is expected that the under the hood department will remain as is as the current engine lineup is offering the needed power to the car.

Thus the car will have the same petrol engine which is 1.8 L four cylinder whereas the diesel motor option under the hood will be the same 1.4 L D-4D. As per the updates, India will get similar to Euro specific version. Meanwhile, the car maker is all set to launch the more powerful version of its hatchback Toyota Etios Liva.
