New Toyota Etios launched in Ngami

A good news for car lovers, the Japanese car maker has launched its new Toyota Etios in Ngami, South Africa. The new car aims at entry level market and will be a must buy for first time car owners. The car manufacturer is very happy with the launch of the car and it is reportedly known that huge bookings have flooded the first day of the Etios launch. Notably, South Africa and Indonesia are major markets besides India that the Japanese car maker is targeting and it is said that the Etios launch in Ngami area will increase the prospects of the car maker there.

The launch of the new Etios is the newest addition to the fleet of Toyota cars in Ngami and it is also said that the car will be giving an excellent option to the budget car buyers. Meanwhile, in the B segment the Etios sister car Etios Liva is rival of cars such as Volkswagen Polo and Ford Figo and the Etios sedan will be having a fight with the segment leaders. In India as well, the Etios sedan and Liva are doing exceptionally well and have been the best selling Toyota car recently with a significant contribution of taxi segment sales. The Etios has been posed as a budget car and this is expected to do wonder in making Toyota one of the major car makers in there.

The Etios sedan is being exported from India and in the financial year 2011 – 2012, the car maker sold over 50,157 units. The new Etios has been offered with dual airbags, ABS and EBD besides a lot of other comfort and safety features. In addition to this the three trim levels G+, V and VX gives the car buyers ample choice as per their budget and preferences. Furthermore, the car hopes to have a decent presence in the sedan market just as it has a strong presence in the SUV and MPV market.
