New Toyota Etios to be used as Taxi car in Indonesia
Toyota Motors is preparing the 2013 version of the popular sedan Toyota Etios for Indonesian market, which is reported to be used as a taxi car in the country. The new Etios has specially designed to use as the Taxi car in that market and is expected to replace the current running Limo. Meanwhile, the company has already launched the Etios series cars in Indonesian auto market.

The version of the vehicle will be powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine which is code named- 3 NR-FE comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It generates max power of about 80 HP at 5,600 rpm and peak torque of 104 Nm at 3,100 rpm. The Etios series cars are global products by the Japanese auto major which has been made available in various countries across the world. In Indian auto market Etios series cars are being offered in hatchback and sedan category.

In India, Toyota Etios Liva is being offered as hatchback available in both petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2L petrol engine powered model offers six variants while the 1.4L diesel engine model comes in four variants. Meanwhile, the sedan Etios offers five-five variants in petrol and diesel models respectively. The new 2013 Etios sedan could also be launched in Indian domestic auto market by near future.
