Next generation Honda Brio to be enriched with diesel engine
Introduction of diesel engine in Honda Amaze helped Japanese car maker in not only strengthening its weakening position in Indian car market but also paved the way of success which was further carried to new heights with introduction diesel variant in generation next Honda City. However still the company’s highly acclaimed product, Brio hatchback did not succeed in getting the diesel engine under its portfolio. It is now reported that the car maker is soon going to introduce diesel variant of Brio in Indian car market which would be enriched with 1.2 litre three cylinder engine.
Here it would be important to mention that the diesel variant would be introduced in the facelift version of Brio hatchback and will not be offered in the existing version of Brio. Moving ahead it is also reported that the hatchback will also undergo various cosmetic changes on the exteriors and interiors. On the exteriors front it is speculated to receive more classic tailgate than compared to existing version. It would be interested to know that Brio hatchback has been one of the best selling hatchback from the car maker but it do not receive much hype alike Amaze and Mobilio. As an impact of which Japanese car maker seems to bring the Brio with some spicy features that will help the Brio in enjoying a huge hit in Indian car market.
